Allen Meadows - Score: 91-93 (2020 January)

A less expressive if not mute nose blends notes of both red and dark currant with those of forest floor, earth, spice and a whiff of menthol. The finer though less concentrated medium-bodied flavors possess a more sophisticated mouthfeel while offering fine length on the delicious and nicely complex finale. As is usually the case, this possesses more finesse but less power on the balanced finish.
